Planetary Environmental Laboratory (PEL)

• The PEL contains an automated vacuum chamber which can simulate environmental conditions of other planetary bodies
• The sample temperature can be set between 145 K and 500 K using LN2 valve in combination with cartridge heaters
• The chamber pressure is adjustable between 0.1 to 1000 mbar
• Currently, PEL performs reflectance measurements from 0.1 µm to 2.5 µm
