Temporal Landuse/Landcover map analysis.

  • Pale mine block has increased at a faster rate than the Bicholim mine
  • The rate of increase of built up land in the Bicholim blocks is more prounced than in the pale block

There is a significant decrease in moderate vegetation in pale block between in 1973-1989. In Bicholim block, the crop land is marginal
